Intellectual Property Seminar Tomorrow Nov 10 4pm

Terry Newby, IP Litigator and Partner, Maslon LLC
Intellectual property feels like a can of worms, especially for innovators who not only have to think about whether/when to patent their inventions but also about what they need to do have "freedom to operate" to actually develop their inventions into sustainable businesses.

We are fortunate to have Terry Newby, a partner at Maslon LLC and prominent IP litigator, come to visit our STARTUP course tomorrow to talk about intellectual property protection, with a special focus on technology-based ventures.  This session is also open to members of the University of Minnesota and the wider Twin Cities business community.

The session will take place at 4pm in the Carlson School of Management.  The session is free, but you do need to register.  Details and registration can be found here: https://intellectual-property-umn.eventbrite.com
